From 29 to 31 May, CarraraMarmotec will be hosting researchers, professionals, technicians and students interested in improving their knowledge of applied geology, the use of new natural stone quarrying and processing technology.

Private companies, authorities and institutions from all over the world will be invited to take part in round tables and conferences with the aim of promoting new ideas and the exchange of expertise among those working in the international natural stone industry.

This second edition of ICDS is jointly organized by: IMM (Internazionale Marmi e Macchine Carrara) University of Siena – Geo-technology Dept., CETEM (Brazilian Ministry for Science and Technology) ABIROCHAS (Brazilian Association for Dimension Stones Industry) IPT (Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnologicas) APEX Brazil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and SENAI (National Industrial Training Service).
