A delegation of CarraraMarmotec will be welcoming designers, artists, architects, design addicted and journalists at the reception of Zona Tortona ( entirely built in natural stone under the supervision of Giulio Cappellini ). An exclusive reception area which will be celebrating the use of natural stone in the world of design and architecture and the genius of prestigious artists like the works of the renowned sculptor Ettore Sottsass, a meeting place which will introduce the new imprinting of CarraraMarmotec, its new “Vision” project, its new strategy in communications which will focus on the world of design.

Zona Tortona in Milan which is  usually frequented by models, photographers, art directors, stylists, film producers, architects, together with what is left of small craftsmen, ex-workers, small shopkeepers, is completely transformed sometime during the year, when it is invaded by an unusual and pacific crowd of designers and fashion artists.

This is exactly what happens during the Design Week of the Salone del mobile Exhibition and the Fuori Salone of Design.
