Special dinner party in the heart of Carrara marble quarry organized by CarraraFiere with the collaboration of A+D+M magazine . More than 40 of the most known Italian architects and the managers of local stone companies all together in one dinner party in the very heart of the Carrara quarry to discover the marble’s essence.
January 2011, Paris France
Promotional visit to Maison Objet 2011, Exhibition of luxury Interior Design. Meeting with the Interior Designers Association of Paris.

Promotional visit to Samoter, Exhibition of handling and lifting machinery.

4 days dedicated to the promotion of CarraraMarmotec to a vast public of exhibitors and trade visitors in the Xiamen Stone Fair. A unique occasion to meet the worldwide stone professionals and to strengthen the business relationships with the most relevant stone associations. Successful results and new contacts for next CarraraMarmotec. Collaboration agreement between CarraraMarmotec Fair and Xiamen Stone Fair.
March 2011, Izmir Turkey
2 days of promotion at the Izmir Marble Fair. New partnerships and agreements with the most relevant Turkish stone associations for the promotion of CarraraMarmotec 2012 in Turkey. Meeting with the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Afyon- important Turkish stone district- for a further development of both promotional activities.

Participation at “Interni Mutant Architecture ”.
“Zero”, the installation designed by Joshua Teas, senior architect at studio Snøhetta, with the contribution of Silvia Nerbi and Paolo Armenise - art-directors of CarraraFiere - for CarraraMarmotec 2012 and carried out by eight of the most important stone companies from the Apuo-Versilian stone district, was set up for the exhibition “Mutant Architecture” promoted by Interni magazine in the seventeenth century gardens of Milan University.

Meeting in London at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to further inform on next CarraraMarmotec and its related events.
May 2011, Bilbao Spain
Participation at the A+D+M invitation, magazine devoted to the Italian architects: three days full immersion with some of the most representative Italian practices.
June 2011, Carrara Italy
Carrara Marble Week in Carrara old town center, organized by CarraraFiere on the way to CarraraMarmotec 2012 – 5 days open event dedicated to marble.
Guesting Architecture: incoming of 35 foreigners architecture firms, represented by one of their architects, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Massa Carrara and Toscana Promozione in collaboration with CarraraFiere.
